Article: 5 Questions with UHH

Some of you might remember last spring when we designed tour tee shirts for Uh Huh Her. I know a lot of you guys are Uh Huh Her fans because we got a bunch of e-mails asking where to get those shirts.
Working with them was such an awesome experience for us. I’ve always loved Leisha Hailey since back when she was in The Murmurs. When she and Camila Grey formed Uh Huh Her they instantly became one of my favorite bands. We did a little interview with them. Check it out below, along with a video off their album Common Reaction.
Also, every few weeks we’re going to be doing short, five question interviews for the blog. At first we’re only going to interview people we’ve worked with; bands, artists, designers. Then we’ll do interviews with other people we admire. E-mail us if you have any particular requests!

410BC: In one word, what is the song writing process like?
Uh Huh Her: Spontaneous

410BC: What are the best and worst things about being on tour?
Uh Huh Her: Best – Being in a different city every day and seeing new sights, and meeting interesting folks.
Worst – You’re “underslept” and usually malnourished during the process

410BC: Which is your favorite song to play live?
Uh Huh Her: Dance with me, because its more up-tempo and rocks a li’l bit harder than the other songs on the record.

410BC: What is your favorite city?
Uh Huh Her: We love London

410BC: What influences your personal style?
Cam – I love old 70′s mod stuff, so I tend to be seen in mostly skinny jeans, heels and big dark sunglasses.
