Hellooo Lovelies.

We’re writing to tell everyone thank you so much for coming out and supporting us on the road. We had such an amazing tour, and thanks to all of you we had a very successful one. We couldn’t have done it without you! So muchas gracias, merci, ありがとう, Grazie, Danke, Obrigado and all the other ways to say thank you. We really do.

As for right now, we’re writing material for records and Ep’s to come at our new studio “Funworld”. We named our tourbus “funworld” so we thought we’d follow suit with our new studio. It’s like an alternate universe, and we dig it. We might even make an acoustic record because we hear you guys like those kinds of things? We’re always listening…so watch out!

We wish all of you happy holidays (daze) and see you in the new year.

Thank you to everyone of you for your support. It means the world to us that you have been on this ride from the beginning. It is such a special day and it’s so great to be sharing it with you. We did it together. We are going out tonight to celebrate so we will raise our glasses and give a big cheers to all of you. Thank you so much!!!!!!

The border of Canada and the U.S. has once again been drawn between us. Looks like somebody is going to have to fly up north to celebrate a certain record that is coming out on the 19th. If anyone is free that night we will be roaming the streets of Vancouver looking for a good time.
UHH big news! The video is finished and it’s dope. Not sure when it’s coming out but it can’t be long. We shot two. Second time was a charm in this case. Scrap all car references. Imagine this one. Fantasy. Is there a pig in it? No. Is there an alligator you ask? Nope. What about a sloth? Wrong again. Just hold your horses and wait.
The fall tour is being routed as we speak. Lots of the U.S. and lots of Europe. October through December. It will be cold then so keep in mind that the more people there are in the venues the warmer we will all be.
We miss you all more than we miss each other and that’s a lot because we really miss each other. When UH is without the H, life just isn’t the same.

This is Jacques. The handsome, charming and always debonaire guitar player for UH HUH HER. Consider this my first official blog for the band…well, mostly because it is!

We’re backstage in St. Louis. prepping to bring the joy. Listening to LCD soundsystem. Taking photos. And, reluctantly trying to fend off food poisoning. For some reason, the band as a collective thought it be a good idea to eat sushi in this land-locked city of king Louis. MISTAKE. let me just say that the fish smelled and tasted like cat food. Not something that a sushi consumer wants. The girls knew to stop eating, the boys didn’t. I did however load up on pepto bismol – one of my all time favorite cure-alls – at the local chevron. That and a little “Dr. Stage” should do the trick. But, if the immanent should come where I need to puke, I will be sure to walk up to the microphone and declaim, ” You make me sick.” and vomit all over the people in the front row…

Hey pretty people,
We know you know. The album is coming out a bit later. It’s sitting here in front of us right know. Beautiful in it’s little jewel case. Ready to spin in each and everyone of your c.d. players. Ready to download. Ready to amp. Ready to turn you on. We want you to have it this second but the label really wants to promote it so they are giving it more lead time. So all in all, that’s UHHmazing.
We want to give a big kiss to our new street team. It’s so great to have you out there. We can’t wait to meet you all on the road.
We just finished our video for “Not a Love Song”. All I have to say is my car is faster. I’ll let you guess who that is. You’ll know it when you see it.
Yes we have a new drummer. Don’t laugh. We are just looking for the right fit. Josh Kane. Killer drummer, sweet guy. Also Jacques Brautbar has been playing guitar for us. It gets hard when calling out their names. Sometimes we end up saying a combination of both. French style. Try it out yourself and you’ll know what we mean.
The last bit of news is we are revamping our website. We’ll let you know when it’s ready. Sending you love bombs, UHH

A million things…….

Hello!
We thought it was time to check in since we have so much to tell you. As you know, we’ve been in the studio for the last month and we are about 2 days from finishing before Al starts mixing. It’s been such an amazing experience. We’re so unbelievably excited about this record. It’s hard to even talk about it because we’re very anxious for you to hear it. Of course, now it goes into the marketing abyss so you have a while to wait.
We just had our photo shoot with the incredible Lisa Eisner and it was styled by Arianne Phillips. Look them both up and you’ll know why that was the luckiest day on earth. The cover has just been chosen as well. It was designed by the Freecity workshop and it’s off the hook. We are also going to release an exclusive run of vinyl that they also designed and it will have different artwork from the c.d.
And now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. We have a drummer! We held auditions a while ago and found the most amazing and adorable player. His name is Jordan Medina. He is so talented it’s weird. He played on the record as well. We’ve named him “Sparklehorse” so feel free to scream that at our shows.
And last but certainly not least we’ve signed to Live Nation/Nettwerk records and look forward to all that they can bring. Gotta run. We have vocals to finish. Oooh la.

M.I.A. porque we’re making a record

Welcome to the jungle baby. We are listening to G-n-R right now. So we have officially entered the studio, that’s why we’ve been MIA. Starting today the writing stops and the real recording begins. We are going to be working with the amazing Al Clay once again. We’re very excited. We told you we were going to get an album out in the spring and we’re the kind of girls who like to deliver. There should be some new pictures up soon too. We’ll get our good friend Clea to come stalk us and document the situation. You can see all the changes in us. Are there any? Mostly on the inside but maybe you’ll be able to see them. Not that we’ve changed for the worse, don’t worry. Cam is still the same spacey girl you’ve grown to love and Leisha is still happy go lucky. Oh ps, happy new year!!! May this year bring magic to all of our lives. We all deserve a little magic don’t you think? Ok, we’re going to go back to making the record. We hope you’ll do crazy things too. More updates to come…
